There are two rooms and their decor blends into a delicate harmony emphasising the precious woods and large bucolic paintings. Opened in 1890 - the year in which the magic of electricity lit the Monegasque gaming rooms for the first time - the rooms designed by architect Jules Touzet were not completely decorated when the players took possession of them. A few sculptural improvements later - in 1891 to be exact - the very fine rooms were completed. Although they were renovated in 1988, their very spirit remained unchanged.
