Punto Banco offers two possibilities to the players: playing with the Bank (Banco) or against (Punto). The game requires 8 packs of 52 cards that are placed in a shoe. The croupier pulls out the first card, and burns as many cards as the card's nominal value indicates. The game can now start. The Punter's cards are placed to the right of the croupier, the Banker's cards to the left. The croupier draws or does not draw a third card, whilst respecting the "table of play". The cards are worth their nominal value. Only the 10 and the face cards are worth 0. The winning score is the one nearest to 9 or equal to it. If the Punter's win is the same as his bet, the bank's win is reduced by 5%. Equality is paid at 8 times the bet.
